...at their New Year's Resolutions to work out? Our gym is so packed with 'Resolutionaries' as someone called them, that there's not a parking spot within a mile or a treadmill with less than a 20 minute wait. UGH! I am all for people wanting to be healthy, really I am, but maybe if people could be healthy year round, instead of just in January, gyms would be better prepared for the masses and they would be bigger / there would be more.
To date, I'm doing pretty well on my C25K, but I'm a little behind. An entire week of frigid for Dallas temps and a packed gym at night meant no running for me last week. I actually attempted it Tuesday, but I turned around and left as soon as I saw people all over the gym like ants on a picnic. I'm not down with an overcrowded room of sweaty people. G-ROSS.
So, I guess I will hope for nice outdoor running weather until February, when the masses clear out or I finally break down and start going to the gym at lunch. Does anyone else work out at lunch? How do you do it as far as not going back to the office looking like a sweaty rat? Suggestions please!
